I am a Serif fan (DrawPlus, PagePlus, PhotoPlus, and am thinking of moving up to Affinity Design. However I would like to know more about the FREE TRIAL as I am not sure if I will be able to handle Affinity.

Hi @posterboy,

Welcome to the Affinity forum.

What specifically would you like to know about the free Affinity trial?

Hi StevenS. Thank you for your reply. What I would like to know is 1. Do you pay upfront? 2.How long does the trial period last? 3. What happens if I decide that Affinity is too complicated for me? And indeed any other info you feel may be of benefit.

Hi posterboy,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

1. No, you don't have to pay upfront. Just download the trial installer and run it.

2. It lasts ten consecutive days counting from the first time you launch the program.

3. If you don't like it you can simply uninstall the trial.

The trial works exactly as the commercial version. Other than the ten (consecutive) days time limit, there's no other limitations. You can save and export files and you will be able to open them later if you decide to buy the application. You can check the system requirements on the respective product pages on Affinity's website.

Is that correct?  I thought it was 10 days from the day it is first installed, not necessarily launched or used?
