Uncle Mez Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hello Everyone ! Hello Team ! i'm maybe wrong asking this, if so, please forgive. Publisher is the master piece in my workflow and it does quite good vector operations but i've noticed i can't expand strokes. Okay, i maybe wrong here or asking too much but very soon the software will go public and there are peoples out there who will buy Publisher only expecting to do few with it and expand strokes is not something of too much luxury to add in there. As i said, i maybe wrong but Serif team should teach me on this if i'm wrong, but if it is something another user have noticed and would like to see, i would be glad know that person would use it. Anything else is a bonus. Serif will no doubt offer a trial version of APub at some point, allowing prospective purchasers to see if it meets their expectations. Staff MEB Posted March 5, 2019 Staff Posted March 5, 2019 Hi Uncle Mez, Expanding strokes and other path manipulations are features that fit better in Designer's purpose than Publisher. Although there's always a basic set of features that overlap (as it happens between Designer and Photo) we have to limit the scope/functionality of some features in order to keeps the apps focused on their main purpose. Publisher's tight integration with Designer and Photo's Personas should cover any additional features you may need. Uncle Mez 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Uncle Mez Posted March 5, 2019 Author Posted March 5, 2019 Thank You Guys @Alfred @MEB for your kind and helpful answers to this. Then i believe Serif should really take it serious because the release of 1.7 will make noise and with noise comes problems. My side i'm happy but was thinking about peoples out there. Blessings !
