MickRose
PDF export with Zapf Chancery is a jumble. Seems to be the same problem with ADesigner beta 1.7. Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
Alfred
I’ve seen this somewhere before. The characters are shifted by +2: t → v e → g x → z t → v Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
Staff Sean P Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2019 Hi MickRose, Would you be able to attach a copy of the ZapfChancery font please using the link below? Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the font. https://www.dropbox.com/request/kKgscbEZFjf2bf38Icx5 Thanks!
MickRose
Hi Sean P - I've uploaded the font. Its an ITC font which might have installed when I installed an HP printer. The Bitstream version of this font is fine. Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
Staff Sean P Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2019 Thanks for the fonts guys, I can confirm you're both using the exact same font. However I'm unable to reproduce this on Windows 7, 8.1 or 10! Mick would you be able to share your export settings, an example AFPub file and the resulting PDF please? Also what application are you using to open the PDF? We did previously have an issue similar that was caused by embedding a subset of the font, but this doesn't seem to be the case here. Thanks! MickRose
I'm not able to reproduce this now. I might have had 2 identically named fonts installed - I'm not sure. I have tidied up the installed fonts & all seems okay. I'll try later. Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
