Axhill
when I am typing a text and want to go to the next line (with a hard return) than I get an extra white space/line which I do not want. This is what I mean: Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo. Architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt explicabo. Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem. But I want this: Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo. Architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt explicabo. Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem. I can't find how to do. Quote Don't believe everything you think
walt.farrell
Return indicates the end of a paragraph, as in all word-processing tools I've ever seen. And typically there's extra blank space after a paragraph to separate it from the next one. It sounds like you want to use Shift+Return, to add a line break. (Also available via the Text menu using the Insert function.) Alternatively you could change your paragraph definitions to suppress the extra space between paragraphs, but using a line break is the better approach. Axhill
Thank you for your reaction. It works like a charm (as you knew, of course). Is it possible to save the text style for use an other time? Couldn't find it how to save for the next time in an other document. Axhill
@ walt.farrell Thank you too. Didn't knew that. I am always using inDesign and went to the next line with a hard return... Shift+return: how easy life can be! walt.farrell 1 Quote Don't believe everything you think
