Thomas-B Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Since 1.7.0.221 I have problems with charset (description below). My keyboard layout is Swiss French.
kenmcd Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Does this happen with all fonts? What font are you using when this happens? Is this an old Postscript Type 1 font?
kenmcd Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 So, Yes, this does happen with all fonts. And, No, this not just an old Postscript Type 1 font. The presence of Arial Unicode MS tells me this is Windows 7. Correct? Given that this started with .221, and assuming you have the correct settings in Windows for your language and keyboard - this looks like a new bug in APub.
Thomas-B Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 My system is Windows 10 64bit Processor Intel Core i7 3930K CPU The only font I have installed in addition to the existing fonts is Lato. Before installing .221, I never had this problem.
kenmcd Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 This appears to be a new bug, so let's hope an Affinity rep sees it. You may want to make your topic title more specific if you can edit it.

Staff Pauls Posted February 18, 2019 Staff Posted February 18, 2019 I believe this is due to the autocorrect of smart quotes option in preferences. We are reworking this in the meantime disabling that option should get you the expected characters.
Thomas-B Posted February 18, 2019 Author Posted February 18, 2019 OK, that works. Thank your for your help !
