Refine selection crash

Using a refine selection with the last release AP crash .

Here is the report :

Do you have this crash with any image used when refining your selection or a specific file?

Thanks for the reply, I have these 2 crashs with the same file ... after resetting the app, all is ok .... except the artefacts on the mask ...

I confirm attempting to refine a selection crashes 1.7.0.106. Upon opening the application, the choice to restore the unsaved image pops up. Upon restoring, image mods history is up to the point before I chose the selection brush.

Are you able to provide the restored/recovered afphoto file (providing Affinity does recover it) so we can try with it here? I'm having trouble crashing the program while refining a selection. Thanks.

Try it using an HDR Merged image.

Thanks Mettsy. I was able to crash the app creating a selection on an HDR Merge. I will check out/try a few more things and will log this if I mange to replicate it consistently.
