In Affinity Photo, copy effects one layer to another?

As a long-type PhotoShop user, I am used to being able to copy layer effects (fx) from one layer to another. This could be done with a context menu selection. I have not found this capability in Affinity Photo. Does it exist? I found another user had posted an answer regarding another of your products, but I don't see that feature in Affinity Photo.

Select the object layer with the FX you want to copy and go to menu Edit ▸ Copy, then select the one where you want to paste the effect and go to menu Edit ▸ Paste FX.

If you want this FX...style often, in other docs... than create a style, just rightclick on that text, shape... and select save as style. For shapes it will include the color/gradient, the stroke... and all in the FX panel. For text it will also save the font /size...

Very nice, but why isn't this available from the right-click menu on the layer itself?

EDIT: Seems I'm not the first one to ask that question...
