nswspider Posted November 10, 2018 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Hi, just installed AP and AD on new laptop and when i try paste picture to my work and move this layer by move tool, AP is crashing. crashing during scaling or move this pasted layer (bigger than my document) affinity designer also crashing in the same situation looks like move tool crashing software photoshop and gimp works fine withe the same files and the same situation i noticed that when i take "place" - move tool works good, when i open directory and click and drag the same picture to affinity - move tool works ok problem is when i use Open command and picture is opent in secend stash (ctrl+a crtl+c) and ctrl+v in my document, move tool make crash in attachment last information about this crash, mostly is without informatin, just only crash it was happend many times in a row, anyone know whats going on and how to solve it? on me previous laptop also with windows 10 was all ok, need your help i7-8750, 32gb ram, gtx 1060, windows 10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nswspider Posted November 10, 2018 Author Share Posted November 10, 2018 crashing also when i use hand tool to move screen i have new laptop, almost clean system, no viruses, all drivers updated, nvidia expirience updated photoshop cc and gimp works great, no crashes on my old laptop all is ok but 10000x slower (slower computer) i want cancel the subscription adobe but first i must be sure that with affinity is all ok, now is not ok Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Staff Lee D Posted November 13, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 13, 2018 If you open the Run window (Windows key +R) and paste in the following location: %APPDATA%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports Copy the latest crash report and send it to me in a PM, this may indicate where the crash is happening. Mark Ingram Posted November 13, 2018 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Hi @nswspider, the crash is occurring inside Direct3D (i.e. not crashing in our code), and it looks like you have RivaTuner installed, which is on our list of third party applications which can cause crashes.
