Design Workbook download files

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Yes I've been reading the other questions on this forum first.

When I try to download the first file from the Design Workbook it leads to a 404 https://affin.co/core_skills_artboards.afdesign

Never seen such a unclear way of providing downloadable files for a book!

Why not just one ZIP for the whole book?

Regards & Thanks,

David

Probably because it would be enormous. What we have instead is a zip archive for each chapter, plus another one for the ‘core skills’ material. You can only download the files in zip format, which is why you get a ‘404 Not Found’ error when you try to download an individual *.afdesign file.

As @dutchshader has hinted, you can get the file ‘core_skills.zip’ (33.2 MB) by visiting the URL https://affin.co/coreskills. The URLs for the other zip files are provided at the beginning of each chapter.

Hi All Media Lab,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
You have to download the entire set of files for each chapter at once using the links provided on the first page of each chapter (and not individual file references on each page of the chapter - those are just to help you know which file you should be using/looking at while following the tutorials). You can find the links for each chapter's resources on pages 69, 126, 150, 184, 234, 262, 306, 338, 362, 414. They are in green on the beginning of the page.
