Using Publisher for My Next Book

Recommended Posts

I'm an RPG book publisher and I'm pretty excited about the release of the new designer tool.  Monthly fees for software got me down.  Anyway, our next book will be in our Dwarven Epics line called "Delverr's Cave" and I'm going to layout the entire book in Affinity Designer.  Check out our progress at www.DwarvenEpics.com

Also am using it for our newsletters in our monthly subscription crate for www.DwarvenCrate.com

Keep up the great work!

Are you sure you are going to use publisher for this?

As this is a beta it is considered to be not suitable for production use. This means that you should not attempt to use it for commercial purposes or for any other activity where you may be adversely affected by the application failing, including the total loss of any documents.

Affinity Designer is neither suitable for book design.

Aw, Fixx.  He must have typed “Designer” by accident.  He started this topic and explicitly wrote “Using Publisher for My Next Book.”    Good for him!!!   Although I do hope he does a lot of Save As steps along the way during the beta.   I love Publisher already, and have previously written several 400+ page books using InDesign and Pagemaker.   It will only get better, and I think it is pretty darned good already.    Got my checkbook out and poised to purchase!!
