GGi
Hi ...have just been using Affinity Publisher Beta version and have set up margins but when I try to set up bleed line 0.25 it auto sets at .30...regardless I cannot view the bleed line or find where to? Please advise, thanks.

firstdefence
I think the issue might be decimal places set to 1 so visually its rounding it up but I think the bleed will still be .25 but like you I cannot see the bleed lines (see my sig for system details) Note: Updating to 1.7.0.133 enables me to show bleeds View > Show Bleeds weird how a simple visual reference makes things so much clearer. iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Staff Patrick Connor Posted September 25, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 25, 2018 GGi, does firstdefence's answer about decimal display accuracy solve this for you? If you enter 0.25 it should be stored and used as 02.5 no matter how it is displayed anyway Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! GGi
So, so....but it's the least of my worries now....the whole Affinity system is so much more difficult to use that Serif...the beauty about Serif was it's simplicity copy, paste etc....now still can't view bleed lines and can't save files as Jpeg's or pdf's only Affinity files!! Staff MEB Posted September 25, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 25, 2018 If you are referring to text when exporting to PDF, click the More button on the export dialog and set the Embed fonts dropdown to Text as Curves. If you meant converting on the canvas - for shapes, artistic and frame text objects -, select them and go to menu Layer ▸ Convert to Curves.
