Affinity is a magic programme. Even a 71 year old can use it (with the help of the Affinity Forum members) When I went to school we did not even have an electronic calculator and computers were a dream in Dan Dare comics. Compare the two images which have been adjusted with affinity tools. The panorama was processed in Affinity from 7 images.  I used MESH-WARP to straighten one lamp post, after the forum members introduced me to this tool. Comments welcomed John Edwin in exile

Hi Rick,  Thanks for your nice comment. I was lucky to go to this square last Friday morning much earlier than I normally do. There is no retouching to the sky at all.la-rochelle-pan-1-3000-web.thumb.jpg.66b068b0b7e2cc67d241f7edbbf9a9ee.jpg  I have used and trialed other Panorama software, some costing a lot more than full price of Affinity Photo.  Non has been as easy as Affinity Photo Panorama tool.   As a 71 year old bumbling computer amateur I do need help.  Take a look at a the file.  Entitled 'Next Stop Newfoundland'   It is the harbour edge of La Rochelle, France.  Not so many pictures stitched together for this panorama.

That is a nice panorama. With what do you need help? It looks good so far. Some post processing perhaps but don't listen to the guy who over saturates, over brightens and over contrasts everything :D

I have only seen Affinity screw up one thing with Panoramas. Easily fixed and you can find it on the forums. Sometimes if too many pictures are overlapped, screwy things can happen

Read through this post when you have a few minutes

Last year, I visited Japan and took pics of Japanese Castles of Edo era. All those photos were not panorama like, but, when I compiled some photos into one, I first did the adjustment of Horizon, then, corrected lens distortion of each photo(if you do 100% lens distortion correction, pics become very artificial, super-super-imitation of real world). And, after this work, I made panorama-like pics with DxO products. I have very poor experience of panorama photos, though...

(Sometimes, DxO offers free license of earlier version,  so, try to find it.)
