kmarae22
I have the surface 3, but the Microsoft store won't allow me to download the affinity designer app, should I download the desktop version? On a similar note, I signed up for the free trial and tried downloading it but it is stuck in a loop. Once it downloads, it requests to be "Open" or "save". Open does nothing while save brings up the same prompts for another copy.
firstdefence
I would have thought for the Surface 3 the desktop version is the applicable version to use. Wouldn't hurt to try. Alfred
As your screenshot shows, you’re repeatedly getting a partial download of only 18.3 MB. The full download is more than ten times that size. I suggest you try a different browser. Staff Lee D Posted April 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted April 29, 2018 When given the option you always want to save the file first. Once the download is complete you can then run the setup to install. The Surface does use the same version as a normal Windows desktop.
