Hi Errol,

 

I can't see of a way to use the Nik plugins in this way.  The way we access the plugins is different and it's just not an option.  

 

Unless someone else posts a workaround method, i'd be happy to move this post to Feature Requests :)

+1 for the feature request.

I Make a copy of the layer I want to use the NIK filter on, doing it this way makes it a non destructive process, other than that its a one shot hit in Affinity Photo (APh) because there is no way to reactivate the Nik plugin used via the layer.
