bluetooth keyboard shortcuts support

Hi There Affinity

 

Just bought your app. Its really good.

But it would be sooooo much better and easier to use if I could configure my bluetooth keys to trigger functionality in affinity photo.

Will this ever be a possibility?

 

PS yes I know there is a little support already, but I mean customizable shortcuts. for example to change brush size, flow, modifiers (for adding subtracting), reversing the pallet black and white etc.

It's been requested a number of times for more shortcuts and customisable ones for those iPad users who use the keyboard.  While it's not currently on the roadmap, it may be something that's added in a future update.

FWIW, although they can't be customized Affinity Photo seems to support a lot more keyboard shortcuts than the Help topic lists. I have only tested with this Anker Bluetooth keyboard ($22 in white on the US Amazon store) using my 2018 9.7" iPad, but this Keyboard Shortcuts Photo ipad v2.rtf summarizes what works with them. (It includes a correction in the Liquify section, thanks to @αℓƒяє∂.) Every line item with a grey background is not listed in the help topic. Any errors or omissions are my own, so please reply if you find something on it that isn't right or won't work with whatever keyboard & iPad combination you use.

I apologize for not pasting the text of the rtf file directly into this post, but since the forum software insists on double-spacing paragraphs, it would be full of white space & very long, & I am not going to go through it line by line & convert all the returns to soft ones so it formats properly. 

Hopefully, everybody has at least one app that will open rtf files so it will be useful to anybody interested. It is just styled text, no images or fancy formatting, so it should be searchable, editable, & easy to convert to other formats for printouts or whatever.
