Fit to Canvas (Width, Height or both)

Hi guys,

Is there a way to fit an object to the canvas dimensions, without using snapping or using the width/height input fields? Like a simple option "fit to canvas width or height"?

No, but you can make the canvas fit the object. Document > Clip Canvas.

 

There are restrictions due to the Photo non-destructive cropping feature, so you may have to rasterise the layer first.

This would be a good feature request then  It would be pretty useful.

If you enter sw in the width input field and sh in the height input field the object will scale to fit the canvas.

If the macos recorded this correctly you could then make this into a macro but currently the macros are frustratingly ineffectual when doing transformation

And not just for transformations, try to record a gradient fill or channels adjustments etc.
