As the title says, not always but many times a double-click on a text frame (to start editing) can move the respective frame ever so slightly (see attached .gif). Present in both the 1.6.1.93 and the most recent beta. Very annoying :$

Is this a bug? I hope it is as this means it can be fixed.

Double click in the middle of it and it will reduce the change of accidentally moving it.. You CAN click on the edge to get the move tool and that is what I suspect you are accidentally doing

Hey Andy81le,

Are you using a mouse or tablet? I can't do it with a mouse but I can with a tablet. My Wacom is a little bit 'slippery' so as Rick G says, it's easy to catch the edge and invoke the Move Tool. I'm going to assume you are using a tablet as the cursor is the white arrow and not the black Move Tool.

Hi there,

I am using a mouse, with high DPI settings. If I am aware this might happen I can prevent it but at some points it becomes quite annoying as I have to undo the tiny move. I understand this is not a bug but intended behavior. However, I have never experienced this in the 'illustrator' app.
