Hi dubctor,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Yes, you can install in on any computers you own/control as long as you are the only one using the software for commercial purposes.

Here's the respective section from the EULA:

The License granted to you is limited, non-transferable and non-exclusive. Except to the extent any rights cannot be excluded by law, you are permitted:

  1. if you are a private individual, to download, install, use and run for personal use, one (1) copy of the Serif Software directly on each computer running Microsoft Windows (“Windows Computer”) that you personally own or control. Commercial use is permitted but only use by you and not by any other users of any Windows Computers that you own or control. For example, other members of your household that use your Windows Computers may make personal use of the Serif Software whereas, if anyone other than yourself needs to make commercial use of the Serif Software, the other user will need to make a separate purchase.

Do the licences for the Mac and Windows versions differ in scope? I had thought they didn't, but I've seen numerous references to the Mac version being licensed for use either by a single user on multiple computers, or by multiple users on a single computer, but not both. The quoted EULA for the Windows version seems to permit any member of your household to use any of your computers, rather than just a single computer.

Thank you so much for clarifying MEB, now I'm well informed! :)

Edit: Olá do Algarve! :P

You're welcome ^_^

De que parte do Algarve?

Hi Alfred

The licenses are similar. On the Mac, Family Sharing (which we support) allows you to share your app purchases (and other media) with up to six members of your family. For more details please check this page.

From https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html

Quote

All Services:

- You may use the Services and Content only for personal, noncommercial purposes (except as set forth in the App Store Content section below).

{...}

App Store Content:

- The term “App” includes apps, iMessage and Apple Watch apps, in-app purchases, extensions (such as keyboards), stickers, and subscriptions made available in an app.

- You can use Apps on any device that you own or control.

- Individuals acting on behalf of a commercial enterprise, governmental organization or educational institution (an “Enterprise”) may download and sync Apps for use by either (i) a single individual on one or more devices owned or controlled by an Enterprise; or (ii) multiple individuals on a single shared device owned or controlled by an Enterprise. For the sake of clarity, each device used serially or collectively by multiple users requires a separate license.

So basically, for personal use the only restriction is "own or control," but it is not entirely clear if or how this applies to others you permit to use these devices, also only for noncommercial purposes.

Family Sharing is covered in section D of the same legal document.
