sighaug
Hello, My first post in this forum. Thanks for a great product. Not sure what I’ve done, but suddenly the Apple Pencil got a blue circle when drawing (see picture). Tried to find the answer without luck. Could anyone please advise how to remove it? Thanks in advance.
Staff Callum Posted September 25, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 25, 2017 Hi sighaug, Welcome to the forums I have never seen this before and neither have my colleagues would it possible for you to provide a little more information as to what exactly you were doing when this blue circle appeared? I have tried to recreate it but unfortunately have been unsuccessful. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Alfred
I don't have an iPad, but in the desktop versions of the Affinity apps a blue circle with a '+' inside it indicates the position of the selected object's rotation centre. sighaug
Hi guys. Thanks a lot for all your answers. First of all; I’m on the iPad version. @Callum : I have no idea really, but it _might_ have been when I was jumping between different layers. At first I thought I accidentally pushed a wrong button/ command or so. Where do I find the brush stabilizisors? Maybe that’s the thing? FYI; I have a high resolution project (9000 x 14000 pixels) and thought it could have something to do with a bug related to that. But it happened so late in the process, and when restarting the app - nothing happens/changes. And btw I am running the latest version from app-store on iPad Pro 10.5 inch. Thanks again for your support.
Staff Callum Posted September 26, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 26, 2017 Hi Sighaug, You should see a little arrow to the right of the menu that appears at the bottom of your screen when you select the Brush Tool touching this will take you to the brush stabilisers Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Staff MEB Posted September 26, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 26, 2017 That's probably the brush stabilisers as Callum suggested. Select the Paint Brush Tool, tap the small white triangle on the right of the context toolbar on bottom (detached from the context toobar itself), then check what it says in the stabiliser popup button - it it says Rope stabiliser or Windows stabiliser you have enabled it. Dayko
I have the same problem. What ever tool being used. I have it in Designer, Photo v2 but not in Photo v1. In each case I’m using a Apple Pro 11” I do admit to being old when Adam was a boy but don’t think that’s the problem
