jackamus
Do crash reports also get sent to Affinity as well as Apple? I have just had one. If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! jackamus
OK this is the third time Beta has crashed. I had just selected the ellipse when it happened. I am gradually converting the line drawing into a toned drawing and removing the lines as I go. Helical gear 2.afdesign If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Staff Andy Somerfield Posted February 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 7, 2015 Yes, we get the reports. Your crash is one we have already been made aware of and the new beta (coming early Monday morning) will fix it :) Sorry for the inconvenience! Staff MattP Posted February 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 9, 2015 Hi Jack, It's the radial gradient of your ellipse - there's a bug in the current beta with its radial gradient code which has now been fixed and will be in the new beta very soon. Sorry about that. Thanks, Matt
jackamus
Hi Matt, Thanks for that. Although bugs are a nuisance I'm always interested in what the bug is. I may not necessarily understand the technical jargon but I did understand your explanation. I look forward to the update. Interestingly because of the bug I created the same drawing in AF with no problems. If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!
