strawberryjamplease
Hi all, Please feel free to move this post to appropriate forum. I am completely new to both Affinity and Mac updates. Having purchased and installed Affinity a few days ago, had started using it without problems, yesterday was prompted by iTunes to upgrade to yosemite on mac air. Now Affinity is unresponsive. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now it is showing 'waiting' on the install page. where do i go, people? what should i do?
SeerUK
What model is your MacBook? (i.e I have a mid-2014 15" Retina MacBook Pro) What version of OS X are you on now precisely? Have you upgraded to 10.10.2 which came out very, very recently? Which version of Affinity Designer are you running now? Could you please update the title of your topic to say OS X instead of iOS? Just to avoid confusion with other people. I'm currently on OS X 10.10.2, with Affinity Designer 1.1.2 from the App Store (up-to-date at this time). Staff MEB Posted January 28, 2015 Staff Share Posted January 28, 2015 Hello strawberryjamplease! Welcome to Affinity Forums. First restart your Mac if you haven't done it yet after the failed reinstallation. Then open the Mac App Store application and go to the menu Store -> Check for Unfinished Downloads. Let me know if the Waiting state disappeared. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

penwiper
Hmm. Now after seeing this post I may wait a bit to update my software to 10.10.2. . . . I at least want to finish my current image. Good luck figuring everything out. *fingers crossed.*
