Is there a way of separating each of these shapes? This object is a result of using the combining shapes tool. I want to be able to put a separate fills in each shape.

I could simply copy the object 6 times and delete one shape at a time. Is this my only option?

No, I guess it is only available in the official version, bought from Apple Store.

My solution was to copy the object to another black document, export it as PDF (or EPS), open it in the official version, perform the Divide, export it again as PDF (or EPS) and open it back in the beta version.

Now I understand! I already have the official version - so it should be possible for me.

Thanks MEB. I eventually did it by making multiple copies and deleting each shape in turn. Next time I'll know better.
