Publish PDF

At the moment Affinity can produce PDFs in two ways. The first is by File > Export as Chris says; the other is by File > Print and then selecting one of the PDF options. Both are pretty basic and don't allow as much control as DrawPlus does. We plan to provide a more comprehensive export in due course.

Hi Nichod.

Had you adjusted the gradient midpoints at all? SVG/PDF only support fairly basic gradients, so to make sure they look the same they will be rasterised. If they are simple, then they should be supported by the standards, and hence should remain as vectors in the output... I have just tried exporting a 3-colour gradient on an ellipse to SVG and it is definitely still all vector with a gradient :)

Cheers,

Matt

Hi, sorry for this delay, in this days I am busy...

Thanks for all the reply, when I wrote "like in DrawPlus" I intend the PDF-X export option with all the professional printing needs, like cross marks etc. etc.

Without this export option I am chained to Illustrator... (sigh...)

Cheers

Paolo
