gaperklake Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Hello, Are before/after views possible? How is that done? Thank you, Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 17, 2016 Staff Posted December 17, 2016 Hi gaperklake, In Develop Persona you can find icons on the main toolbar for Split/Mirror views (the blue/grey icons). In Photo Persona, regular (destructive) filters (in the Filters menu) also have those icons available in each filter dialog. For Live Filters and Adjustments (Photo Persona) you can simply toggle the respective layers on/off unticking the checkbox in front of them in the Layers panel. gaperklake Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 I wonder whether a split view between different Snapshots would be viable / interesting / useful? Yes, Aammppaa, Snapshot didn't work for me as a before/after view. Quote
gaperklake Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 Thanks so much, MEB. I should have specified I was in the Photo Persona. Affinity and I are new to each other. I understand about turning layers on and off. I was trying to compare an image as it was originally opened in Affinity (before any adjustments or layers) with the current layered state, which I presume now can't be done in this Persona. Thank you, again. Quote
Madame Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 There's always the history panel. Quote - Affinity Photo 2.3.0 - Affinity Designer 2.3.0 -Affinity Publisher 2.3.0 MacBook Pro 16 GB MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2
gaperklake Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 Hello Madame, Yes. That works well, as it does in PS, except for simultaneous views. Since I'm working on two screens, I'm going to work in Affinity in Separated Mode with the panels on one screen. That way I can look at a second version of the document (without adjustments) next to the current version. Thank you, Madame, for your further help. My best, Madame 1 Quote
