Retrieve Assets from the Beta

Hi guys, as I have the 1.5.4 version, I can't open the beta version anymore.

But I need to open it in order to export assets from my documents (they are not embedded).

 

How can I do that?

Hi Tekikou,

Copy the assets file from:

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner.beta/Data/Library/Application Support/user/assets.propcol 

and place it in:

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/

 

Make sure you backup the original file before overwritting it with the one coming from the Beta location, just in case.

Thank you so much for posting this... I used this logic to retrieve my custom vector brushes. :-)

 

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner.beta/Data/Library/Application Support/user/vector_brushes.propcol
