matt.baker
If I select the font drop down list and start typing the font name, it doesn't allow me to enter text/jump to the font. It seems to only allow one character and not a string. What would be really nice is if the text field allowed autocomplete/filtering based on what your you type. This would make it much faster selecting known fonts. The paragraph palette is also not expanding the height for me . Staff Chris B Posted November 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2016 Hey mattb5906, We are aware of the paragraph panel not displaying correctly however I would expect to be able to search for more than 1 character in a font. It works on the Mac. I'll get this logged as I can't see it in our bug reports.Cheers :) matt.baker 1 How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
matt.baker
Arghhh, It would appear that it is my work PC (again) causing similar effects to this: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/26570-15025-rc-colour-numeric-fields-buggy-after-enter-key/ Sorry, please ignore this bug (unless you have any ideas on what could be causing it on my machine/ logs that may be of use?). I just got another PC running Windows 10 Pro set up at work today, so I'll also try it on that when I'm back. All my other test PCs where it works have been Win 10 Home Premium. Jon and myself couldn't reproduce it at all  We do come across unique issues from time to time. Some of them can be caused by other software running in the background. You could easily identify that by booting in Safe Mode so the only things running are your necessary Windows processes and whatever else you choose, such as Designer. If you haven't booted into Safe Mode before I'd definitely look it up so you're comfortable with what you are doing. matt.baker 1 How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
matt.baker
Thanks Chris. Good idea. I've never tried safe mode with an account that requires a domain login (no local account access at work), but hopefully safe mode with networking should do the trick. If that works I'll try disabling startup services and programs logically to narrow down the conflicting one.
