I often am in the situation where I have to completely ungroup a constraints group. The problem is, when I create a constraints group of the items again the group disappears. This is because the layers still have constraints properties applied which I have to set back to default.

So it would be perfect to have an option to remove all constraints properties of one or more selected layers.

Thanks in advance :)

Does this feature exist yet? Currently in a situation where I copied layers from other constraints groups and now I have to manually return them all back to default constraints.

There should be an option on the right click context menu of a layer to "clear constraints" which resets all contained elements to the default constraints setting and returns the group to a normal group/layer.

Even if you remove all constraints (by deleting the objects even), the constraints group doesn't become a layer and there's no way to convert it back to a layer. I suggest that the "Promote Group to Layer" menu item should work on constraints groups if there are no more constraints.

Any news on this? I still can't seem to find any way to remove constraints, and once constrained, my objects seem cursed even after trying to restore default constraints.
So yes, please add a remove contsraints option.
