JoergB
Hi, just played around with the beta... How can I change the white-on-black screen layout to black-on-white? I hate this... P.S. Would like to have DrawPlus9 :-( Thanks!! Joerg
Willabong
I'm sure you already know that DP9 is not going to happen! But when everything related to AD (Bugs) are fixed, and a release version is finalized,we have been told that the UI colour will be looked at! I personally love the present UI. zoezahn
Just started playing with Affinity Designer - looks good! But I do have the same problem with the UI - that black color is very hard on my eyes, really need a neutral grey to work on it all day without my eyes bleeding. I hope that will be incorporated in the final release, for me it's a necessity. Really looking forward to the final release, and hopefully Photo as well soon. Mark Ingram
Hi, just played around with the beta... How can I change the white-on-black screen layout to black-on-white? I hate this... P.S. Would like to have DrawPlus9 :-( Thanks!! Joerg Hi, there is a UI Gamma slider in preferences that will adjust the colours slightly, but it won't give you a light colour scheme. JoergB
...thanks for all your replies! @Mark: Yes, I noticed the slider, but it's as you said - I would love a light grey scheme... @Willabong: Sure, I heard of that... I will miss some of the features, especially the rostrum animation. Hope v8 will be still supported for some time... Joerg
Alfred
Hope v8 will be still supported for some time... In his announcement post here on CommunityPlus, TonyB wrote: As long as we continue to sell the Plus products then we will support the running of those applications on the supported operating systems unless specifically stated. This means that if Microsoft releases an update that cause significant issues to the supported application then we will patch it. Tech support will also continue to help users and offer workarounds for known issues.
