  1. Cannot drag guides from Rulers. Guides are necessary for lens corrections, as Photo doesn't support many 3rd lenses for auto correction.

  2. Lens > Lens Profile menu doesn't behave properly.

    1. Selecting any item in the menu does NOT close the pop-up menu list, as it should.

    2. When typing in a search (try Viltrox), the pop-up menu is much larger than needed for the number of items.

    3. The pop-up list is too wide, sticking out beyond the right boundary of the app window and screen:
      image.png.b2c7985edd9b260521e66578c01146b6.png

    4. Misplaced Lens Correction Controls. The Distortion, Horizontal, Vertical, Rotation, and Scale controls have NOTHING to do with the Lens Profile Selector (selecting any profile does not change those controls' settings, they are baked into the lens profile) yet they are placed below Lens Profile selector instead of below the main Lens Correction title/checkbox where they belong:

      image.png.b34edec331685b59fdee51be6a1e6368.png

  3. Swap Before/After partially broken:
    1. Pressing the Swap button doesn't swap the labels on Split Viewimage.png.ca926b03e7029d7c5fa29505ab1b6c41.png image.png.ea807f578d66dbc930f346fa914e8d63.png
    2. Once you press the Swap button, it doesn't keep track of the Swap and further adjustments adjusts the Before image not the After Image one is working on
    3. It seems to keep track of 2 different sets of adjustments after pressing the Swap button, whereas the expected behavior is for Before to ALWAYS be the original, before edits. Otherwise there is no way to compare to the source image.

  4. In terms of a LOGICAL photo-processing workflow, the Develop Persona should be listed as the first persona, followed by Tone-Mapping, Photo or Liquify (Photo as 3rd would keep that centered among the 5 personas), and finally Export:

    image.png.54ab76bd0c3e26f908bda53455ada951.png

  5. Clicking once on any section of a collapsed subsection, ie Tones > Curves (not only the tile/text) should open that section.

  6. Opening up the Tones > Curve drop-down triangle (without clicking the checkbox) and then making a change should automatically turn ON the checkbox, which is not the case currently.

  7. Tones > Curves missing Eye-dropper tool to select and add node from image

  1. Cannot drag guides from Rulers. Guides are necessary for lens corrections, as Photo doesn't support many 3rd lenses for auto correction. I think this is by design to not work with other tools so you can paint without accidentally dragging a guide etc. The problem is there is no Move Tool in the Develop Persona... I can see if we can work around this, maybe allow the View Tool to do it?

  2. Lens > Lens Profile menu doesn't behave properly.

    1. Selecting any item in the menu does NOT close the pop-up menu list, as it should. It probably should

    2. When typing in a search (try Viltrox), the pop-up menu is much larger than needed for the number of items. It should/could shorten I suppose

    3. The pop-up list is too wide, sticking out beyond the right boundary of the app window and screen: I cannot reproduce this... I've tried different Display settings. Are you using an external monitor and is it trying to bleed over to that?

    4. Misplaced Lens Correction Controls. The Distortion, Horizontal, Vertical, Rotation, and Scale controls have NOTHING to do with the Lens Profile Selector (selecting any profile does not change those controls' settings, they are baked into the lens profile) yet they are placed below Lens Profile selector instead of below the main Lens Correction title/checkbox where they belong: I think this is fine. They are there for you to use if you cannot find an exact profile but maybe one that 'almost' gets you a result you need. You can then adjust accordingly.

  3. Swap Before/After partially broken:
    1. Pressing the Swap button doesn't swap the labels on Split View
I will need to poke this a bit more

  4. In terms of a LOGICAL photo-processing workflow, the Develop Persona should be listed as the first persona, followed by Tone-Mapping, Photo or Liquify (Photo as 3rd would keep that centered among the 5 personas), and finally Export: You might have a point however, we should consider long-term users of the app and their muscle memory. It's possible that this may be addressed in the future so I will report the feedback to development

  5. Clicking once on any section of a collapsed subsection, ie Tones > Curves (not only the tile/text) should open that section. I'm not overly fussed about this one unless there are other areas of the app that do it and then we should be consistent.

  6. Opening up the Tones > Curve drop-down triangle (without clicking the checkbox) and then making a change should automatically turn ON the checkbox, which is not the case currently. I think it used to do this at one point. I think it was complained about. I'll check. I would be inclined to agree for the most part. For example, if I start dragging the Curve around under Tones > Curves, I'd expect my image to adjust accordingly - it only does it once I enable the checkbox.

  7. Tones > Curves missing Eye-dropper tool to select and add node from image. I agree

Yes using an external display, it does not bleed into the adjacent display

I don't think so @Chris B  The controls belong underneath the appropriate category title, not under the Presets title/category, which inherently does not have controls. This is BASIC UI logic.... Lens Profile category belongs beneath the manual controls.

Thanks for your time and efforts, @Chris B

@Chris B This is still broken in the last beta; now the window pops up on the lower left of the screen, totally in the wrong location....

Hey @ronnyb I can reproduce the issue with it appearing in the wrong location (bottom left for me too) - I will log this up. Thanks for checking :)
