GoldHunter Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Dear Community for drawing digital art: Use Affinity Photo 2 or Affinity Designer 2? I found conflicting information about what to use for drawing. In Photo i did not find a drawing mode ? I am a total newbi to digital art. How to set up a grafic tablet from WACOM Intuios Pro with pressure sensitivity? (Windows 10) Any suggestions for an effective draw setup? Best regards Quote

You can use the Pen Tool to create vector objects, if that is the kind of drawing you mean. Otherwise, you can use the Paint Brush Tool to create pixel (bitmap) objects. Best regards If possible buy the universal license so you can use both apps. Designer has far more features for vector art, and limited support for bitmap art. Photo has far more features for bitmap art, and limited support for bitmap vector art. So it totally depends on what type you prefer. GoldHunter Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 Thank you for your kind replies! I got the universal license! ❤️ @NotMyFault I am not to much into vector art, more into sketching and painting. Something in this direction https://conceptartworld.com/artists/ross-tran/ -> For this purpose is Designer 2 (Pixel Persona) oder Photo 2 better? @R C-R What persona to use? 🤥 I found the paint brush in photo 2 by customizing my tools!. However I did not find pressure sensitivity in photo 2, only in designer 2 (pixel persona). With some brushes it worked and with imported ones from photoshop (from an artist I follow) it did not work. Quote

GoldHunter Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 Can someone recommend a drawing course in affinity photo 2? Quote
