HobbyHaus Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Okay, I'm new to Affinity, switching from Photoshop, trying to at least, so I am still learning my way around it. The issue I'm currently facing is the lack of pixel perfect edges in some spots and not in others. No matter how I resize this (or other elements like it) I have the "halo" edge around it. I've checked the layer and there isn't any FX on it causing it. Quote

There are many posts on this topic in the forum, but setting the snapping to Force pixel on and Move whole pixel off can make your job easier (possibly by increasing the number of decimal places for displaying values). Alfred Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Although ‘Move by whole pixels’ (MWP) is presented as a child of the ‘Force pixel alignment’ (FPA) option, it’s only a child in so far as the setting can’t be changed unless the ‘parent’ FPA option is enabled. MWP actually overrides FPA, so you need to disable it if you want FPA to produce the result that you expect. Your screenshot shows integer px values for the blue rectangle, but the problem is the smaller grey rectangle, so you need to select it and ensure the px values are integers. Quote
