These are my order of operations in Affinity Designer 2.5.6:

Select Text -> Select Gradient Tool -> Select Type: Bitmap -> Select Image

When I click off the text Affinity Designer closes. No warning or crash report being generated.  I have tried rebooting my computer, using multiple fonts, different images with the same result. Even Windows system fonts reproduce this program closing after deselecting the text with bitmap gradient.

I have a Desktop i9 12th Gen processor, 80GB DDR4 RAM and a dedicated 3070 NVidia graphics card with the latest Studio driver so I think my resources are adequate.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
