justifun
I was trying to duplicate an object by using the same CTRL + Drag command while rotating an object (around a modified center point). It doesn't seem to duplicate the object that way. The next thing i tried was just just rotate it, then press CTRL + J to duplicate it over and over, thinking it would use that rotation value (and custom pivot point) to make new copies, but it seems to move the pivot point back to the center of the object and pastes a copy at some random other place on my image. What is the correct method to rotate an object around a circle orbit several times? (like the spikes on the blade of a circular saw (and also how to evenly space them all as well) thanks

MikeW
This is where Xara Designer Pro's right-click drag duplication shines. It also works when rotating an object. And one can also hold the ctrl key down for constraining to an angle as set in its preferences for angle constraint. Aammppaa
Bhikkhu Pesala
DrawPlus X8 also does this when rotating objects with Ctrl + Shift. MikeW
As I only really used DP for support on the Serif forum, I had forgotten that. In any case, either is a more efficient method and should be adopted.
