Paradise33 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Would be helpful if the information available on Affinity Photo Help page was displayed on this promotional page which implies that Affinity Photo 2 has this ability. No mention that it is only for the Mac? Quote

No mention that it is only for the Mac? Just to clarify (as the Help pages will appear differently depending on the OS you use to view them): Are you suggesting that this info from the Windows version of that Help page should be included on the Affinity Store page? Quote Location panel (Develop Persona only) The Location panel is only available in the Mac version of Affinity Photo 2. If so, I agree. Not sure about Windows but as I understand it, support for the Location panel on Macs comes from Location Services built into the macOS, which is why on the online help page the footnote mentions Location Services (but does not clearly state anywhere I can find that it is a Mac-only feature). So unless there is some equivalent service built into Windows (doubtful) the help topic definitely should say it is Mac-only. Thanks, @Callum, but the suggestion also applies to the Store page that describes "Full RAW Development", which implies the Location panel is available for everyone.
