danntahh
Hello, I've been having issues with importing and placing these two files on AD and AP. Just a day ago it was working fine and opening the archery center dxf file perfectly fine. But today it immediately crashes the application. I am on MacOS Sequoia. I am not sure if this has to do with the beta version since I was on the same beta version as the archery file worked. I tried opening a pdf and that works. Please let me know if anybody has any idea of what might have happened. I don't remember affinity needing an update. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Affinity forums, @danntahh. What release of the Affinity applications are you running? Have you applied the update to 2.5.5 yet, which came out on Monday? Staff MEB Posted September 4 Staff Share Posted September 4 Hi @danntahh, Welcome to Affinity Forums Can you please double-check if the file you uploaded to the forum (archery center linework.dxf) does crash Affinity apps again please? Download the version you uploaded to the Forums and try opening it. It's opening fine for me in Sequoia. Maybe you've uploaded a version that works fine instead of the buggy one by mistake. The other file aon linework.dxf does crash Affinity apps here. I'm logging the issue to be looked at. Thanks for your feedback. danntahh
Thanks all for the speedy response. I created a new set of dxf files, and tried the ones i uploaded here again, and they are both opening good today. Really odd occurrence but will keep you updated if this method gives me trouble again.
