TShelton Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Loaded Affinity Photo 2 on my new laptop this morning. Install went well, but when i try to open a picture (.jpg or RAW) the system crashes after a few seconds. I have seen other post that tell to uncheck the Hardware Acceleration box. Which i did, still would not work. I also read to make sure graphics drivers were updated. I did that as well. I notice that the Renderer drop down box is blank. One post said that after updating their graphics drivers it then had options in that drop down box. However, it did not after I updated the drivers. Can anyone help me fix this and get it to work? My system information is below: Quote

Staff stokerg Posted September 9, 2024 Staff Posted September 9, 2024 Hi @TShelton, If you follow the link that @GarryPposted and try a different installer? That should resolve the blank renderer dropdown and allow you to then open an image without a crash. Quote
