Your screenshot seems to show another problem: The missing indent for the second text lines. (Unfortunately, this does not get set automatically when bullets get activated – although the app knows the required indent from its bullets tabstop setting). How do you create indents with the special character in multiple paragraphs? Do you paste it at every spot? And, if added multiple times in a document, how do you adjust it for the entire document if wanted? For a bullet list I would prefer the indent as paragraph attribute which can get saved with a text style. Nevertheless, this annoying "futzing" should not be demanded by Serif or Affinity: The required indent options could easily appear in the Bullet and Numbering interface … instead of forcing the user to jump around unnecessarily. Of course, it would not replace the indent paragraph style settings in "Spacing" but would rather be auto-synchronized with those. – Simply doing things differently than others is not always a good idea.
