Ballshamin
Working with Affinity Publisher on documents, there are times that I want to save several pieces of formatted text to the clipboard for later pasting. The simple Copy/Paste operation works perfectly, however, if I use the Windows 10 utility that allows me to access the clipboard history or use some third-party tool, I always get garbage in the paste operation. There is no way to store different pieces of text in the clipboard history and reuse them when needed.
MikeTO
There appear to be known issues with using the Windows clipboard history feature with Affinity. I'm not sure what the difference is between these logged issues but here are the links. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=AF-3788 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=AF-3334 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags= AFD-6828 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M4 Pro)

Ballshamin
Here you can see the problem... This issue not only occurs with native Windows application but also with third-party products. Video
GarryP
It’s working for me, in the same way that it’s working for Hangman in the above video, however only the text seems to be ‘coming through’ and any special formatting is lost. I don't know if there's anything that Serif can do about this if it's a problem with the clipboard itself.

For me, it appears that only the last item copied to the clipboard maintains its formatting... GarryP
Yeah, I think that is what was probably happening for me too but I don't have the time to go back and check properly at the moment. Hangman
