EST-il exact que ce logiciel a aussi une fonction "traitement de texte" particulièrement fiable ? ?
Sur la version de démonstration, je ne vois rien d'approchant

The Affinity Publisher application provides Desktop Publishing functions. 

I'm not sure, though, what you mean by "word processing" nor what you mean by "particularly reliable" (as Google Translate as translated your message for me). Perhaps you could provide more details on exactly what you're looking for?

For a Word alternative, I would use LibreOffice.

Affinity Publisher is more an alternative to MS Publisher, or InDesign.

What do you see in the demonstration version instead? What exactly did you expect to see or what are you missing in particular?

Do you need specific features apart from text editing and formatting. e.g. 'mail merge' or 'text correction tracking/follow-up'? Depending on special functions like those Affinity Publisher might work for you.

Affinity Publisher is more a "graphic design" application than a "text editor" app. It has a different concept, interface and set of features.

For instance there is no pure text content editor window but you always work on pages with certain dimensions. It has a different file format which does not enable you to save or export your document as text file like .txt or rtf, in this aspect it is not compatible with files from other text editor apps. All text of a Affinity document gets created in at least one "text frame" object.

For text formatting it may be more convenient than Word with a better overview of the current text style attributes in its various "Panels": for instance one for a specific group of text style properties, another for the list of saved text styles and one for the "Text Frame" attributes, e.g. background colour, frame border, indents etc.

Myself I would never use Affinity Publisher for writing anything longer than a few sentences. Affinity Publisher is for taking the already written words and making them look nice.

Personnellement, je n'utiliserais jamais Affinity Publisher pour écrire quelque chose de plus long que quelques phrases. Affinity Publisher sert à prendre les mots déjà écrits et à les rendre agréables à lire.

Si vous utilisez un Mac, l’équivalent le plus proche de Word est Apple Pages.
