Unresponsive UI in the 2.5.5.2613 iPad apps when restoring from the dock

I've seen this in all 3 of the 2.5.5.2613 apps, ever since installing them. 

Sequence:

1. click on app in iPad dock to restore it.
2. screen opens in Live Docs.
3. impossible to tap on anything and have it take effect.
4. wait awhile, screen flashes once or twice, and everything is working.

Seems OK if application needs to start and shows its splash screen, until you switch to a different app and then try to restore from the dock again. Here's a video of the restore sequence above.

I've also shutdown/restarted the iPad, which hasn't helped.

Edit: This only seems to be a problem if the app restores to Live Docs. If it restores to an already-open file the UI is responsive immediately.

I'm seeing the flickering on Live Docs if I swap between apps, but the app is not hanging as in your video. 

In the 30 seconds before the Open menu appears, are you tapping the screen? 

Could you send a video with show touches enabled so it's a bit more obvious. Thanks

It was.

The apps are completely hung until the screen flashes.

We were told earlier that that's supposed to happen, with the changes made in 2.5.3.

@EmT: I've also been experiencing crashes that feel related to this. Sometimes when trying to return from a document to Live Docs, where the Context Bar blanks out but the rest of the UI remains, then after a few seconds the app crashes completely.

Also one just now where the app crashed while trying to verify its license.

@EmT: Also related, I think: Sometimes the unresponsive UI occurs when switching back from a document to Live Docs.

Is there a specific document you are opening to cause this?

It seems to happen with any/all documents, @EmT. I have found nothing consistent so far.
