walt.farrell
Minor, but may confuse some users. If you visit https://affinity.store/account/downloads to download the beta updaters for 2.5.5.2613, they're labeled as 2.5.3 still. This is true for all OSes, though I'm only including Windows in this screenshot. SonjaThompson
I'm really confused. I'm used to getting a message that there's an update and clicking install. This time I get this message and nothing happens unless I click Download and it sends me to my downloads page and the release isn't there, and I don't really know what to do because it didn't work this way before -- and it is a "release" update not a "version" we're talking about, right? That's a message when you've installed an Affinity application using the MSIX version of the installer. 7 minutes ago, SonjaThompson said: This time I get this message and nothing happens unless I click Download and it sends me to my downloads page and the release isn't there That message is from an Affinity application installed using the EXE/MSI version of the installer, rather than the MSIX version. So make sure you keep downloading that kind of installer to avoid confusion and having multiple copies of the application installed. If it's not showing 2.5.5 it may just be mislabeled. I would suggest downloading it, running it, and seeing what it says will be installed. 12 minutes ago, SonjaThompson said: and it is a "release" update not a "version" we're talking about, right? SonjaThompson
Well, that's the problem then. My computer crashed badly since the last one and I had to reinstall everything.

Then, if you have the wrong ones installed, you need to uninstall them, download the right ones, and install them instead.
