DarkClown Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 I'm not sure what you guys did with this version (actually everything related to 2.5.x) .... I now encounter servere display problems in 2.5.2. Objects randomly show dark 1px strokes where clearly the stroke is set to transparent (and shown as such in the colour panel). Unselected dark gray objects show violet outlines (see below). In this example the car is purely vector, not selected (same as the bg panel - black frame around the car) with 5% opacity. Additionally when exporting this single object that should be close to transparent I get a 100% white stroke for the object in my svg. Additionally I see custom unreproducable an unpredictable strange behaviour. (e.g. tools can't be deselected for a certain time) All only with the latest update. DarkClown Posted June 6, 2024 Author Posted June 6, 2024 True, they were snapping candidates, but there's no reason to show these (of course I had snapping candidates turned on) bot no others I would also consider snapping candidates (I checked with the snapping settings). Also no reason to show strokes one some of many objects that all were identical copies. Also no reason to export objects with 5% opacity as objects with 100% opacity. I'm aware I'm adressing different topics here but since most of them only occur ocasionally I consider this just as a feedback that something is wrong. If I find something reproducable, I can be more specific. If you don't want all those showing, you should pick different options. Or turn Snapping off if it's not relevant at the moment,. Hi @DarkClown, By default Designer displays/highlights the last 6 objects that have been selected or created as snapping candidates. This value can be set in the Maximum dropdown/slider right below the Candidates dropdown in the Snapping options. As soon as you create a new object or select one that's not an existing snapping candidate, the oldest one is removed from the candidates list and is no longer highlighted. Regarding transparency export issues, can you provide a file where this happens so we can see what's going on? Thanks. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
