Hi, after upgrading to 2.5 Affinity Photo doesn't start anymore. When it comes to "loading fonts" the splashscreen disappear and the app doesn't load. Moreover no process is present into process list.

Best regards

Raf

Hi @cgiout,

I'm assuming you're using the Windows version of Affinity Photo?

If so the current advice is to join the Beta program and update to the latest 2.5.2 Beta release which you can do by following the links in this post. This should fix the issues you're currently experiencing...

If you can do so then let us know whether this resolves the issue for you that would be really helpful...

Likely by early next week. The current beta fixes this and is undergoing release testing

Yet more promises from Connor - appropriate name. Upgrade to 2.5.3 won't run. Haven't you had enough time to sort this - it's now August 2024.

The problem reported by the OP in this thread was solved in 2.5.3, so I think you may have a different issue that has a different cause but the same/similar symptoms.

I suggest you make a new thread with as much information about what you have tried and when it last worked.
