awakenedbyowls Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 I’ve been making brushes on the windows version but now I can only use my iPad for this So I go in to create some new brushes and imagine my shock to find it’s all completely different and I have no idea what I’m doing I was making brushes by adding multiple bitmaps together with the original one on the intensity brush - only on the iPad version there appears to be no way to do that and the brushes I’ve already created this way don’t show these additional bitmaps either so I can’t adjust the settings So the question is - where are they and can I do the same things on the Windows versions with the brushes on the iPad Quote
awakenedbyowls Posted May 19, 2024 Author Posted May 19, 2024 I don’t get it at all There is an option to add a brush under Textures - but no option to configure the settings I can see anywhere The brushes I made up with multple bitmaps - the additional bitmaps are not showing up either So what does this feature on the iPad do - is it the same as the Windows version ? I can’t remember where I add additional brushes/bitmaps on the Windows version but it’s under a tab in the edit settings - is there functionality on the Windows brush editor that’s not on the iPad or something Either way I’m just completely fed up with the neverending problems Quote

Well, if you're working on a vector brush it won't help much if we discuss creating pixel brushes, will it? And you're giving us very restricted screenshots, so we don't have much context to work with. The screenshot I posted up is from the Brush editor - and I had a look at creating vector brushes and it looks different - also no option to add additional brushes bitmaps to vector brushes that I can see How I get to these settings (image 1) for additional brushes (image 2) when I try to create a new intensity brush on the iPad It’s not there - anywhere - for any brush - the options to do this aren’t there that I can see anywhere on the iPad version walt.farrell 1 Quote
awakenedbyowls Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 Where is the sub brush section in the pixel brush editor on the iPad version! I couldn’t remember what it was called because I’m away from Windows right now No sub brushes on the iPad - I can’t get some of the work I planned to do Quote
Staff DWright Posted May 20, 2024 Staff Posted May 20, 2024 On the iPad version of Affinity you are not able to edit or create sub brushes Quote
