Cant select individual curves in Designer

This attached file was created in Inkscape.
How do I select individual curves and modify or delete them.
I can only seem to select every curve and modify the nodes

For example I cant seem to select just this curve?

You can use the Geometry Divide boolean operation: Layer > Geometry > Divide

Ok, is that different to pressing divide in the top right corner, as I tried that divide button

No, it’s exactly the same.

Then that didnt work, however I only did it once which broke some of it apart.

Is there such a thing as invent the curves

Try Menu>Layer>Geometry>Separate Curves on the 3 path layers.
This will breakup all the curves but will make them all the same color though.

What layer(s) did you have selected when you tried it? When I open the file (in AD2 on iPad, since that’s what I’m using at the moment) I see a parent ‘Image’ layer with a ‘path446’ child layer and two others. The ‘Divide’ operation isn’t available for the parent/container layer, but it works as expected if I select the ‘path446’ (unicorn) child layer; the other child layers are just simple unclosed curves.

Use the node tool and lasso the selection of nodes to select them, then hit the delete key.
