Godzilla
I was trying to apply a skew (transform) to lines of text using the League Spartan typeface (no italics in the family) but they don't show (leftmost pic) when I print to PDF. It works on the screen (see centre pic) but when it translates into a PDF, the effect is ignored. The skew was 12 degrees (see rightmost pic). Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I tried this on several lines of text aside from this one and the results in the PDF are all the same: the skew effect does not get printed. MikeTO
I can't duplicate the issue on. macOS, it worked fine for me with League Spartan Bold and 12 degrees. I tried with two PDF presets, Print and Digital High Quality. Which preset did you choose? Does it display correctly in the export preview? The OP says that the text isn’t skewed “when I print to PDF”, which suggests that rather than being exported to PDF the text is being sent to a PDF printer driver (in which case the problem lies with the printer driver, not the Affinity app). Off topic, why is the mayor of Mississauga using the pronoun “we” instead of “I”? Godzilla
Seems that the fault lies in the Microsoft (the version that comes with Win 11) print-to-PDF driver. The text skew shows properly if I export it. I will have to get other PDF drivers to test to see if they work better. Alfred

I suggest what she means is she and her council. Common for mayors here to say "we" to refer to the collective activities of a municipal council. And as the leader of a provincial political party, she might use it to refer to party decisions and actions. I'm not the author of the content, merely using it in a newsletter. Why get involved with PDF printer drivers if you’ve established that exporting from the Affinity app gives you the expected result? Because I use other apps as well, and want a reliable PDF printer for them. Alfred
