GT70 Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Never had such a thing happen. Occasionally it would give some on-screen weirdness, but never like this. The problem appeared only with Affinity Designer, no with Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve or After Effects...or others. I was working in person pixels. With the distortion>prospective tools (sorry, but in english I don't know what they are called exactly. I have the Italian version of the desktop app). Any ideas? With the distortion>prospective tools I assume you've used "Layer>New Live Filter Layer" (Live Perspective filter). - Look after the ADe app's "Settings (preferences) -> Performance options", if there under Hardware Acceleration is Metal or OpenGL computing used. If it is set to Metal tryout OpenGL instead. ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
NotMyFault Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 On my M1 Mac Designer shows similar rendering issues for zoom levels between 100 and 400% making it almost useless. Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. It was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic community. After 03.10.2025 find me on https://creofora.com
