Poohbear Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 I have a photo that is quite detailed and my ageing fingers are not accurate enough to outline the subject. I used imglarger to remove the background and it did a great job. However, I now want to replace the background with affinity photo 2 but cannot see how to do it. Is it possible to achieve this with affinity please? Kind regards, Ken Quote
GarryP Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Without being able to see the image it’s difficult to tell which technique(s) to suggest, other than guessing. Can you upload the image and tell us what you consider to be background/foreground? Can you also tell us what you will be replacing the background with? Quote

Does that mean the background is now transparent so that in Affinity Photo it shows as a checkered background? If so, then just add whatever you want to be the new background & move it below the original background layer in the Layers panel. Thank you for your help I assume you are using Affinity Photo, you need to take a screenshot of the Affinity app including the layers panel, if you cannot see the layers panel, it's because it's been deactivated (By default it is activated) or it is in a group of panels and one of those group of panels is foremost pushing the layers panel behind it.
