Having used the Pencil tool to draw a line I am unable to apply a Pressure profile to it although I can do it to a line drawn with the Pen tool. Why is this?

I drew another pencil line and it worked. I've no idea why it didn't work the first time.

Wow, you drew 1 line, then created this thread, then waited for response to draw a 2nd line?

Yes, but these aren’t ‘rules’! They’re curvy lines. ;)

I wasn't being 'Willfully' ignorant' as I didn't know what was happening and then tried drawing a second line AFTER reading your comment! Also what rules are you talking about?

I think @thomaso was merely pointing out that you could have drawn the second line immediately after the first line behaved in an inexplicable way, only then creating the thread when you still couldn’t understand what was happening.

Yes I suppose I could have done but why would I not expect a second line to do the same thing? I tried deselecting and re-selecting several times but to no avail.

I suppose its to do with whether I think AD is reliable enough or not.

However next time I will repeat ,whatever it is I'm having a problem with, several times to give AD the benefit of the doubt.
