Mainecoon364
How the snap settings should be If I want only the objects snap. (Objects Edges and corners)?
NotMyFault
Snap to shape keypoints—when enabled, objects can be aligned to key points on shapes, such as the start and end of a rounded corner. Snap to layer geometry—when enabled, objects can be snapped to layer vertices and not simply to the bounding box. Snap to layer bounding boxes—when enabled, objects can be aligned based on its bounding box. Include box midpoints—when enabled, objects snap to vertical or horizontal centre of a target object. This option is only available if the above option is selected. Snap to gaps and sizes—when enabled, arrows represent matched gaps between snapping candidates and matched horizontal and/or vertical sizes. If you rotate objects, the term "snap to edges" becomes fuzzy. Snapping works against either the bounding box (and mostly points, not edges), or shape key points as described in the help. It really depends of the layer type (how many nodes the curve is build of) what works best. Try to activate only one snapping option at a time and test it out on your own. I hope they will fix this on Affinity Designer v3. Thank you very much.
